The Severin Health Foundation was born from both lived experience and professional insight. As a nurse practitioner with over 20 years of clinical and leadership experience, I founded this organization after witnessing persistent gaps in health access, education, and equity—right in my own community. What began as a local observation quickly evolved into a global calling: to use my expertise to build innovative, nurse-led solutions that uplift underserved populations and dismantle systemic barriers to care.

Rooted in equity and powered by partnership, our foundation works alongside schools, families, and community organizations to develop inclusive programs that address real-world health challenges. We’re proud to be led by a nurse—and equally proud that our board and team include educators, public health experts, and community leaders who bring diverse perspectives and lived experience to our mission. This multidisciplinary leadership strengthens our ability to advance public health education, amplify voices in the equity space, and design solutions that reflect the needs of those we serve.
